The morning sky toward the mountains was very pink.
I began cleanup in the yard. There was some Miracle Gro fertilizer that had been sitting out all winter in a wagon that had collected a pool of water in the bottom. I finished filling it with water then applied it to the front lawn after which I used a manual aeration tool to punch holes in the sod then watered as thoroughly as possible through the whole yard.
Alex had an oil change maintenance due for his truck at Jerry Seiner so he was gone doing that and returned while I was punching holes in the lawn.He created a beautiful hand stitched modified messenger bag with a US flag on it today.
I was very tired and fell asleep for a while after getting lunch for Alex of chicken parmesan marinara Healthy Choice meal. I had two burritos for lunch.
I ground up a lemon in hot water and drank it with my meals. All day the soles of my feet were burning as though I were standing on a hot plate.
I worked on yard cleanup and finished filling the dumpsters, did some mowing. I pulled the smaller cedar planter near the lilac and put little self watering pots in it but have not filled it with soil yet. I will finish that tomorrow.
I moved the Seascape strawberries into the half bathroom by the garage and planted asparagus and Ozark strawberries.
I hope this year to have perennial plants located in permanent places to return each year and annual plants places established to feed us as well as possible.
